Home Inspection Engineers
A home inspection by a qualified, professional home inspector is an important part of the key to avoiding surprises that can totally ruin your enjoyment of your new home. And if you are going to spend good money for a home inspection, we think you should choose an engineer to do the job with you. You will note that we said “with” you, not “for” you. An important part of getting your money’s worth from your home inspection is making yourself available for the couple of hours it will take to go through the home from top to bottom with your inspector.
It is not the job of the home inspector to spoil your joy in buying your dream home but it is their role to make sure that when you move in, you will experience no surprises. In addition, you will receive valuable information that will help you to avoid problems in the future. On occasion, when surprises are encountered, the written report from your inspector may give us the needed credibility to renegotiate the terms of the transaction to your satisfaction.
Following their complete analysis of the critical systems in your home, you will receive a complete written report of their findings, along with “The Home Reference Book”, a guide to keeping those systems problem-free in the future. A copy of the report on your home will be kept in their files for future reference, awaiting a call from you when you need their advice about a maintenance item you’re not quite sure about.
Seymour Home Consulting Inc. Engineering Services will take the time required to analyze the many critical systems in your new home to make sure that they all compliment each other the way they should… as only engineers really can.
